HORIZONTAL BAND BATTERY WITH THREE BAND SUPPORT TROLLEYS AND A HANGING SYSTEM
CENTRAL PASSIF
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to the technical field of horizontal strip accumulators with band support trolleys, which can be installed on flat ground.
In addition, the invention relates to belt support carts with a thin design and anti-rollover system, as well as a passive central hanging and unhooking system of the belt support carriages placed at dedicated locations with a control system. maintain at these locations when they are unhooked.
The present invention is intended to be used in continuous strip processing lines such as pickling lines, continuous degreasing, PLTCM, continuous annealing, galvanizing, tinning, colorization, anodizing, polishing , ... for the metallurgical industry. There are also potential applications of this in the continuous treatment lines for the production of plastics or fabrics.
Technical background and prior art
Horizontal tape accumulators with tape carrier trolleys are increasingly in demand because of their reliability compared to accumulators with rolling doors and because they do not affect the tape, even in adverse conditions.
Accumulators such as those used in the context of the present invention comprise several parts: on one side, fixed rollers, which supply and recover the band in the accumulator, on the other side, an accumulator carriage rolling on rails. The accumulator carriage generates loops for tape accumulation. The forward direction is normally specified when the carriage enlarges the tape loops. The backward movement takes place during the decrease of the loops. The force required to enlarge the tape loops is usually transmitted by a winch, rope and pulley system attached to the battery carriage. The backward movement is effected by the tension force of the belt, counterbalanced accordingly by the winch.
The tape accumulator carriage is followed by a plurality of tape carrier trolleys, which limit the bending of the tape to prevent the tape ranks from rubbing against each other. The belt support carriages are hooked to the accumulator carriage and to each other when the accumulator is at its minimum band fill level. These belt support carriages must be distributed with a distance between them required along the length of the accumulator to fulfill their desired function, when filling the accumulator with the belt. The belt support carriages are retrieved by the loop forming carriage and hooked to it or the support carriage already attached thereto as the loop decreases.
Typical designs of the prior art utilize an accumulator carriage and a system for positioning the belt support carriages in various ways: individual electrical drives for each carriage requiring a considerable amount of cable chains (EP 388708 A1), or an electric rail and a trolley plug or pole (DE 10104093 A1), or a linear motor (DE 3925193 A1); - a rope drive (EP 110864 A1) or a toothed belt (CN 1158765 A) to always have the same distance between the carriages, requiring a very long rope / toothed belt and a special pulley / pinion system; - A passive locking and locking system with buffers to stop the carriages, when they arrive at their respective dedicated locations (FR 2 698 803 A1).
Most of these systems use four wheel support carriages to overcome the danger of overturning, which requires the reservation of a certain space, decreasing the capacity of the accumulator to the same extent. Several attempts have been made to reduce this disadvantage: - provide an elastic system (such as springs), which makes it possible to draw a carriage axis very close to the next one, when thrusting the band support trolleys together (JP H03 91118 (ü); - have two pairs of rails for telescoping the carriages when pushed together (DE 102004042595 Al, DE 3925193 A1), but it is not expected that the support carriages can enter the accumulator carriage; - have a central "I" section to allow the telescoping of an open triangular base of the carriages (patent of Chinese design ZL201120051403.0).
The possible danger of truck overturning is sometimes taken into account in known designs: - use rails that allow hooks coming under the rail to prevent the wheels from leaving it. But this simple system generates a braking effect when the truck performs a tilting motion (CN 201665446 U); - put the rails at half height, which reduces the overturning moment, but which does not allow installation on a flat floor without special support structure for the rails and which does not eliminate the danger of overturning ( FR 2 698 803 A1); - use cam rollers moving in a central "H" or "I" profile, linked to the truck (Chinese design patent ZL201120051403.0). This solution has the disadvantage that the lowest band rank is high because of the connecting elements between the carriage and the cam rollers.
The attachment and unhooking system is the most crucial for a system without a clean belt support trolley: - the most common fastening system is used by the railways, but it requires manual actions for the hooking as well as for stall.
It has the great advantage that the towing forces are applied in the axis of the carriage; - There are several attachment systems, which require at least during an operation, either the attachment or the stall, an active system (electrical, hydraulic / pneumatic or a manual force or their combination) (DE 2425181 A1, US 791 445 A); - The automatic coupling system (disconnection by a cam or a manual action) described in DE 2425181 A1 is provided with horizontal hooks and return springs.
A completely passive system is used in the horizontal belt accumulator (FR 2 698 803 A1) using a hook and a cam system with complicated hooking / unhooking, but it is not applied to the center of the carriage, which requires special precautions, especially for guiding the truck on the rail and for rail fasteners.
Objects of the invention
The present invention aims to avoid the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, the invention has the following aims: - to design a band support carriage, which only decreases the theoretical capacity of the accumulator by the presence of these carriages to a minimum possible; - allow installation on flat ground with the lowest band rank as low as possible without adverse effect; - Use a passive hook-and-hold system at specified locations, which is at the center of the carriages to avoid unwanted stresses in the rails. Summary of the invention
The present invention relates to a horizontal strip accumulator installation in a continuous strip processing line, comprising a loop forming carriage moving on a pair of outer rails, which increases or decreases the tape loops to maintain a constant bandwidth in a processing section, while an adjacent processing section operates for a period of time at a different speed, with a plurality of band support carriages, each comprising a vertical frame disposed on two wheels moving on the same outer rails, having sleepers and support rollers located transversely of the vertical frame for supporting the web between the loop forming carriage and a web supply location, characterized in that the vertical frame is connected with each side of the web at inclined supports provided with guide cam rollers moving in profiles or respective guide beams located under the rails, so as to guide the tape support carriage on the outer rails in an anti-overturn manner.
According to preferred embodiments, the installation of the invention also comprises one or more of the following characteristics: the profiles or guide beams are "C", "H", "I" or " U "; - the lower crossbar of the frame is provided at its center with a fixed hook on the back side and a hook eye, which can be raised and lowered by means of a hinge, on the front side, or vice versa, to automatically hook the tape carrier carriage to a next or to the loop forming carriage when it is sufficiently close thereto; the fixed hook is internally provided with a hook opening capable of receiving the hook eye of the next band support carriage; the hook is externally provided with a sloping portion capable of raising the hook eye until it falls into the hook opening for hooking; the hook eye is mounted so that it can not be lowered below the lower end of the sloping portion; the installation further comprises a stationary stall cam system, the center hook eyelet being provided with a hook eyelet cross member, which is wider than the band width and narrower than the portion interior of the frame, each end of the hook eyelet beam being provided with a cam follower so that the stationary stall cam system is capable of automatically unhooking the tape carrier carriage from a next carriage or loop training trolley by raising the cam scale; - the stationary stall cam system is provided with a suitable slope for unhooking a belt support carriage from a following trolley or loop forming trolley when the cam follower attached to the hook eyelet cross member moves on the slope of the stationary stall cam system, the latter being provided with a return stop cooperating with a corresponding point on the cross member to prevent any rearward movement of only said off-hook support carriage; - The height of each carriage hook grommet with the cam follower and the tip and its corresponding stall cam system with its return stop is arranged so that the stall and return stop function only work for a particular belt support carriage, while the other support trucks still hooked are not affected; - each band support carriage is designed to be gently stopped by one or more shock absorbers in its forward movement at the time of stall at its specific location, the latter being defined by one or more buffer stops cooperating with the dampers respective shocks; the shock absorbers are either on the support carriage or on a fixed post and the stops are on a fixed post or on the support carriage respectively, and they are arranged so that only the band support carriage which has just been picked up or arrested; the shock absorbers and the corresponding stops for different support carriages are arranged at different respective heights; additional shock absorbers are attached to at least one cross member on the front or rear side, respectively, of each tape carrier carriage and on the rear side of the loop forming carriage to soften contact and acceleration back between the train consisting of the accumulator carriage and / or hooked tape support carriages moving back to retrieve and hook the stopped belt support carriages at their dedicated locations; the tape support rollers are directly attached to the vertical frame or on particular sleepers; - Guide cam rollers are also provided on the vertical frame at least near a wheel, to guide each band support carriage laterally on each side of the rail.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION AND PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS THEREOF
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention (FIGS. 1 and 2), the horizontal accumulator 1 comprises band support carriages 2 consisting specifically of a vertical frame 3 arranged on two wheels 4 moving on the same rails 5 as the battery loop forming trolley (the latter not being shown). These frames 3 are equipped with the necessary tape support rollers 6. The sleepers 7 of the frame 3 are located where they do not interfere with the band loop 10.
The forward movement of the loop forming carriage, corresponding to the enlargement of the tape loops, defines the sides of the carriages. The front side of the carriage corresponds to the side turned in the direction of forward movement or enlargement of the loops. The back side of the carriage corresponds to the side turned in the direction of backward movement or reduction of loops.
Supports 8 are fixed at a given angle to the vertical frame 3 on each side. These supports 8 are equipped with cam rollers 12 moving in an open section 9, for example having a shape of type "C", "H", "I" or "U", which is located under the rails 5, in order to obtain a system for guiding and antiturning the frame 3. These supports 8 may be either on the inner side or on the outer side of the frame 3, according to the design specifications.
Guide cam rollers 12 are also provided on the vertical frame 3 to guide each web support carriage 2 laterally on either side of the rail 5 near a wheel 4.
In addition, according to a preferred embodiment (FIGS. 3 and 4), the lowest cross member 7 of the frame 3 comprises, at its center, a fixed hook 13 on one side and a hook eyelet 14 on the other. side, the latter can be raised and lowered through a joint.
This hook eyelet 14 can not be lowered below the lowest end of an outer slope 15 of the adjacent hook 13 allowing automatic attachment to the next belt support carriage 2 or the battery carriage, when he is getting closer to this one. The hook eyelet 14 is then raised by progressive sliding on the slope 15 of the hook 13 until it falls into a hook opening 16. The hook eyelet 14 is equipped with a cross member 17, which is wider than the band 10, but smaller than the inside of the frame 3 (Figure 2). At dedicated fixed locations, a stall cam system 18 below the lower trolley beam 7 raises a hook eye bush cam follower 20 through a slot 19, when cam 20 moves on the latter, which results in the desired stall of the carriage 2 (Figure 3). The hook eyelet 14 and its cross member 17 are at a lower position than when hooked, when moving back after stall. This effect is used to achieve with a cooperating tip 24 and the stop back 21, a support carriage lock preventing its further backward movement possible. When the hook eye 14 is high for hooking, as described above, the tip 24 on the cross member 17 is higher than the return stop 21 and a backward movement is possible.
The height of the cam follower 20 located on the crossmember 17 and the stall and backstop system 18 and 21 must be arranged so that they act only for the dedicated belt support carriage 2, while that the other support carts still hooked are not affected. This can also be achieved by changing the width of the different sleepers.
Still according to a preferred embodiment, a shock absorber 22 is provided to stop the forward movement of each web support carriage 2 at the moment when the latter is unhooked at its specific location. The shock absorbers 22 and their respective buffer abutments 23 are arranged so that only the right off-hook web support carriage 2 is stopped, for example, arranged at different heights. Other shock absorbers 22 located this time on the tape support carriage cross member soften the contact and acceleration backward between the train consisting of the battery carriage and / or the attached belt support carriages moving in back to retrieve and hang the .bande support cart stopped at its desired location.
The web support rolls 6 are attached to the frame 3 either on its vertical portions or on particular rollers, if widthwise rolls are used.
Advantages
The present invention has the following advantages.
A first advantage of this tape support system is the minimum space required to house the tape support carts, while the latter still fulfill their required functions. No drive or additional transmission system is needed for these. Another advantage is that the use of an attached rail on an open profile is advantageous for the rail fastening system and does not affect the overall height of the accumulator.
In the case where the accumulator is to be installed on a steel structure, the beams under the rails can be used for the guiding and antirolling system.
The simple stalling, locking and latching system according to the present invention is completely mechanical and automatic, does not require any external power, that is to say it is passive. It has the great advantage of being housed in the center of the carriage, avoiding unwanted efforts or moments in the system, which requires special devices to overcome or avoid mechanical problems. This makes it possible to use U-shaped or similar profiles for the support carriage structure, resulting in lighter belt support carriages.
The following disadvantages, however, must be expected.
A first disadvantage is that two additional open profiles are needed under the rails, but they also have a beneficial counterbalancing effect since there will be fewer fasteners on the floor than with the usual rail arrangement.
The carriers with their cam follower system favorably replace the second pair of wheels required in the prior art solutions, but they make the system a little wider.
